Game Dog Guardian. It’s Our Turn To Fight For Them.
Help People. Help Dogs.

Last Friday, at the Pinups for Pitbulls Pit Bull Awareness Day Gala, we made a very special announcement. In the first quarter of 2012 we will start fund-raising for the newest and biggest Game Dog Guardian endeavor: The Symbiotic Behavioral Treatment Center. We have teamed up with local therapists and social workers to create a place for people and dogs to help each other heal and move on from traumatic experiences.
The Symbiotic Behavioral Treatment Center Mission is:
To enhance the mental health and well-being of people through evidenced-based treatment and to aide in the physical and psychological recovery of abused and traumatized dogs with interactive training and the application of the human-canine bond in a therapeutic environment.
SBTC will be a place for people to seek treatment for PTSD and stress and anxiety disorders. Concurrently, SBTC will be a place for dogs that have been taken from abusive situations to recover and rehabilitate so they can move forward in their lives to their new forever homes. The people and dogs will work on their own and together on their path to recovery. It will be a great opportunity to help people and dogs in our community and to enjoy the best of the human-canine bond. We will discuss the Center in greater detail in the weeks and months to come. We have been working very hard and we are excited about the potential of the Symbiotic Behavioral Treatment Center.
